KingFisher Trifold brochure
I used InDesign for layout, Photoshop for image prep, and Illustrator for vector elements like the blue graph in the upper left corner. Using multiple platforms gives you diversity and allows your creative juices to flow.
The request was to create a trifold marketing brochure to sell a PlasmidPro Maxi Porcessor. I was given copy, photos and the creative concept (the red DNA background). My job was to put it all together in a cohesive manner. I started by creating the template. I was given printer specs and created the pages, then I started with the cover and when on from there. I received a lot of feedback from the client and reviewers. Originally, the DNA with the red background was spinning the wrong way. This is a classic detail that non-designers might miss, but it matters for accuracy and visual storytelling. There were also a lot of copy edits, but not too many design edits. Attention to detail is important when designing a trifold brochure as far as the template goes because the page that folds in is smaller than the others. A lot of people forget that the fold-in panel needs to be slightly narrower, or it can mess up the fold alignment. Also, it's important to note that this is a printed piece, therefore all of the images have to be high resolution for a nice crisp look.

Often, I would be asked to create marketing literature in foreign languages. I would be provided the copy and asked to design it in a logical manner.

Village Crest May 2025 Newsletter
This newsletter was designed using Adobe InDesign, chosen for its robust layout and typography tools that make it ideal for creating visually engaging, well-organized publications. InDesign also offers seamless integration with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, allowing for efficient incorporation of graphics and custom visual elements.
A three-column grid system was implemented to maintain structure and readability across the layout. This grid supports a clean, consistent flow of content, helping readers easily navigate through articles and features.
Typography was carefully selected and styled to create hierarchy and clarity, while design elements such as headers, subheads, and pull quotes enhance the overall aesthetic and guide the reader’s eye.
By leveraging InDesign’s professional capabilities, the final piece is not only visually cohesive but also functionally effective, striking a balance between form and information delivery.

Amethyst Bay Resort & Spa Flyer
This flyer was created using Adobe InDesign, the ideal tool for publication-style layouts with a strong emphasis on text and supporting imagery. The design demonstrates a thoughtful application of the elements and principles of design, showcasing both technical skill and a deep understanding of visual communication.
Key elements—line, color, shape, form, value, and space—were purposefully used to create visual interest and guide the reader's attention. The flyer balances structured typography with thoughtful composition, ensuring readability while maintaining a dynamic layout.
A textured background adds visual richness and depth, while deliberate use of white space creates emphasis and directs focus to key information. This contrast between texture and openness supports the hierarchy of content and ensures a professional, polished appearance.
Design principles such as balance, contrast, alignment, repetition, and proximity were employed to unify the layout and create a harmonious flow throughout the flyer.
Overall, the result is a clean, engaging design that effectively communicates its message while demonstrating attention to detail and mastery of layout composition.

Rapid DNA solutions - 1/4 page magazine ad
This ad was created for the Florida Sheriffs magazine in 2023. I used Photoshop to create the header image and to clean up the instrument and add a reflection. The NDIS logo was created in Illustrator and the FBINAA logo was provided.
